The moments of the first days fly by so quickly that we hardly notice them. A professional newborn photography session helps you capture these precious memories that you can carry with you for a lifetime. Imagine what it will be like to look back at these photos years later and relive the happiness that your baby's first days brought into your life. The ideal time for newborn photography is between 5 and 14 days of age.
Newborn photography process
1. Booking and Preparations: It is recommended to book your newborn photo session at least 1-2 months before the due date to ensure I can reserve a spot for you around the time you're due. After that, we will have a brief consultation via phone or email to discuss your expectations and wishes. Don't worry if you've never been to a photoshoot before; I'm happy to provide advice and ideas regarding outfits, props, and the atmosphere.
The photoshoot will take place in your home or, if it's not suitable for this purpose, in a baby-friendly studio.
2. Scheduling the Appointment: Once your baby has arrived and you’ve safely returned home, get in touch with me and we’ll choose the best time for the photoshoot.
3. The Photoshoot Day: On the day of the shoot, I’ll arrive at your place, and we’ll spend about 1 to 1.5 hours together. After selecting props, outfits, and poses, I’ll begin capturing moments in a calm, familiar, and safe environment for your baby.
During the newborn photoshoot, hygiene and safety are my top priorities, which is why I work with hand sanitizer and wear a medical mask.
(Optional: Professional makeup and hairstyling are available for family photos. In this case, the makeup and hair will be done before the photoshoot.)
4. Creative Ideas: Feel free to be creative and bring your own concepts for the photoshoot. However, if you don’t have specific ideas, I’m happy to provide guidance and advice on the best poses and setups.
5. Selecting the Photos: Within 7 days after the photoshoot, I will send you the raw images in digital format (with a watermark), so you can select your favorites that you want retouched.
6. Preserving the Memories: Within 2 weeks, I will send you the selected photos after careful post-production and retouching in digital format (without a watermark), so you can easily share them with family and friends. Additionally, you can order prints of your favorite images to turn them into lasting memories.
RAW IMAGES:
None of the packages include the raw images, but I offer the option to purchase them separately. It’s important to know that even the "raw" photos already have basic color correction (brightness and white balance adjustments), so they still represent high quality. They are not suitable for online sharing but are perfectly fine for printing.
