Maternity photography
Maternity photography is a special opportunity to capture the most beautiful moments of your pregnancy. A day that is all about you. With the help of professional makeup, hair, lighting and amazing clothes, you can show how beautiful you really are!
It is usually best to come for a maternity photo shoot between the 25th and 36th week, but this may vary in individual cases. I have nearly 40 maternity clothes that I provide for the photo shoot free of charge!
Maternity photography process
1. Preparation and Consultation: First, we will have a short consultation to discuss your expectations and wishes, then we’ll choose the best time, location, and outfits. Don’t worry if you’ve never been to a photoshoot before; I’m happy to offer advice and ideas regarding outfits, location, and the atmosphere. I have beautiful maternity dresses that you can freely use.
2. The Photoshoot Day: On the day of the photoshoot, we will meet, and we’ll start creating in a calm, pleasant environment. I work in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere and a cheerful mood to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible and that the photoshoot is a wonderful experience for you.
(Optional: Professional makeup and hairstyling are available. In this case, makeup and hair will be done an hour before the photoshoot.)
3. Creative Ideas, Photoshoot: Feel free to be creative and bring your own concepts for the photoshoot. However, don’t worry if you don’t have ideas ready and have never been in front of a camera. Throughout the shoot, I will be there to support you, giving advice on the best poses and setups.
4. Family Photos: During the maternity photoshoot, we don’t just take pictures of the future mom, as it’s a perfect opportunity to capture happy moments with the dad and big sibling. The best photos often come from spontaneous moments, so I encourage you to enjoy the time together, play, laugh, and hug each other. These natural moments will bring out the best in the photos!
5. Selecting the Photos: Within 7 days after the photoshoot, I will send you the raw images in digital format (with a watermark), so you can select your favorites that you would like to receive in retouched form.
6. Preserving the Memories: Within 2 weeks, I will send you the selected photos after careful post-production and retouching in digital format (without a watermark), so you can easily share them with family and friends. Additionally, you can order prints of your favorite images to turn them into lasting memories.
RAW IMAGES:
None of the packages include the raw images, but I offer the option to purchase them separately. It’s important to know that even the "raw" photos already have basic color correction (brightness and white balance adjustments), so they still represent high quality. They are not suitable for online sharing, but are perfectly fine for printing.
